Abstract

The scientific article contains a review of scientific literature on solving problems of increasing the efficiency of the crop production industry through optimization, specialization, concentration and cooperation, technical equipment, state support, planning and economic analysis. It was revealed that forage crops occupy the largest share in the structure of sown areas of the Perm Territory. It is shown that the yield of grain and leguminous crops, as well as potatoes, is declining throughout 2022 and 2023. High grain production rates were observed in 2022, and in 2023 the decrease was more than 35 percent. The marketability of grain is no more than 20 percent. Potato production has a maximum value in 2021, then decreases by at least 10% per year. The marketability of potatoes remains at around 70 percent. The maximum volumes of vegetable production were observed in 2020, then the rate of decline was at the level of 90 percent. The level of marketability of vegetables is close to 100 percent. Tomatoes and cucumbers have been grown in closed ground since 2023, while the cultivation of cabbage, carrots and beets has been stopped.
