PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BIOECONOMY IN RUSSIA

Abstract

The paper examines the resource and scientific and technical foundations, driving forces and prospects for the development of the bioeconomy in the Russian Federation, identifies legal, institutional and infrastructural obstacles, provides information on the level of awareness of the country's population about the bioeconomy, its position in relation to it and the tendency to consume products and services in this area, and also provides guiding recommendations for the formation of its growth strategy in the country.
